Reflections

well its Friday the 1st of July and I think now would be as good of a time as any to reflect on the last 6 months. January: Well 30 was different from every other birthday so far :) As seems to be the status with my friends we all hit 30 and end up in the hospital! The day after my 30th I ended up in the hospital with Pre-eclampisa and was put on bed rest until the kiddo arrived. February: Mr. Connor Arrives at 11:32 PM on Sunday Feb. 13! 28 min short of Valentines day. Yes this is a good thing! It's amazing to me how fast time goes by. I would always hear other parents say this and always thought they were full of it, now I know that this is the truth. So lets hit the stats shall we? Eye Color: steel blue Hair: Full head, straight and dark brown Length: 23 in Weight: 7.7 pounds Milestones: Smiles, some head control, can almost roll over. Sleep: between 2-3 hours, sleeps best in Mom or Dad's arms. Breast Feeding...

Getting there...

How do you get where you are going? This sounds like a simple enough question, but amazingly enough it’s not a simple question at all. This week DH and I decided that it is time to head back to the RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist). This in turn has made me do a little soul searching and reflecting on the past few years. For instance what has led us to this decision and how did we get here? Well if you will humor me I will attempt a brief rundown of what has led us here. Let’s start at the beginning December 1997, I was 16 going on 17 (and now I digress in to a little music from the Sound of Music) and I met my husband, being the only girl in an all boy computer class. I was a junior in High School and he was a senior. He was clearly the brains in the class and was kind enough to let me cheat off of him because I had no fricken clue what I was doing. Fast forward to the end of that school year, Nick and I were still going strong, and had joked about kids and marriage and all of ...
